Be Kind To The Skin Your In!
Skin, our largest organ needs care and attention to be healthy and strong.  It covers and protects everything inside our body, helps to keep our body temperature balanced, and allows us to have the sense of touch.
Soft, smooth, silky skin is not only nice to touch, it helps to maintain your skin integrity, preventing dry, cracked open areas.  Winter itch affects most of us, that uncomfortable flaky, itchy, dry feeling.  Cold weather, increased indoor heat, low humidity, harsh soaps, and wind are some of the causes of this winter dilemma.  No matter what your age or sex, here are some tips to help care for and pamper your skin.  Be kind to your skin for a healthy you!

                Cleansing Your Skin

Scented, deodorant, and anti-bacterial soaps can be harsh, stripping skin of essential oils.  We recommend using our 100% natural soaps. Our soap is all handcrafted and all natural. There are no artificial colorants, preservatives or fragrances. (No parabens or phthalates) No animal fats, and they are not tested on animals.  Many of our soaps are even vegan. Our soaps have only pure essential oils so it gives you a true aromatherapy experience.  We have smooth soaps and textured soaps. We have herbal, spicy, floral and even unscented soaps. We carry SunLeaf Naturals, Susan's Soaps & More, Chequamegon Soap, and the new SoapRocks.

Clear Away Old Skin Cells
New skin cells are constantly forming and the dead skin cells move up to the top layer of our skin.  Sloughing away the dead cells is the first step to pampering your dry, itchy skin.  The cleaner the skin, the deeper the moisturizer can penetrate, and the softer your skin will feel.  We recommend using the SHE Salt Souffle, there is no oil, and the product is made from salt infused with liquid soap.  You can exfoliate your skin and then wash the scrub away without any residue, your skin will be baby soft!  SHE also carries Susan's Soaps and More sugar and salt rubs, made of 100% natural ingredients.

Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisturize
Moisturizers help maintain your skin's natural moisture levels.  Moisturizing your skin helps control itching, aides in anti-aging, and in general promotes comfort.  We offer a variety of body and bath products including the SHE Body Mist which is made without oil, alcohol or water.  Designed to soften, easily applied whenever you need a lift!  Excellent to spray on your back to manage that winter back itch!  Our complete SHE Collection has products for your total body skin care needs.  Our number one seller, is the SHE Hand Creme, which everyone loves.  It contains a large percentage of shea butter, it is a very rich creme, completely light and non-greasy.  This balm heals with comfrey root and Vitamin E.
Our entire SHE Collection carries a solution for all of your skin care needs.

Proactive Skin Care for All Ages
All of us, men, women, infants, children, and teens need to be proactive in caring for our skin.  When using natural skin care products, less is more.
Our products are not full of fillers or preservatives, and a little goes a long way.

Some suggestions for protecting your skin, winter and summer:
*Protect yourself from the ultraviolet sun light by using a natural sun blocker, free of harmful ingredients.
*Read labels on your household items including your cleaning and laundry detergents.  *Use products that are free of dyes, synthetic fragrances, phthalates, and parbens.
*Use warm water and limit your bath time.  Hot water and long showers or baths remove oils from your skin.
*Hydrate your home.  Aim for indoor moisture level between 40% and 50%.  A general rule of thumb is that If you are noticing static shocks your environmental air is too dry, if your windows are wet with moisture, the humidity is too high.
*Hydrate your body from the inside out by drinking 6-8 glasses of water daily.
