We have launched our new Information Center, our Blog!
Education and information is one of our primary goals. Yes, we have fun and unique baby items, amazing jewelry, and other specialty items at SHE. However, our primary purpose is to inform our customers about toxic chemicals that are in our everyday body products. We can't determine how many people have learned about parabens in the last year, or how many are now checking their personal care products for this toxic ingredient, but we know we are making a difference.
We will use our Blog as another means of providing safe skin care information. Education is a means to awareness, and customers tell us frequently how much they appreciate being informed.
(Parabens-synthetic compounds mainly used as a preservative in most beauty products. Parabens cause many allergic reactions and skin rashes. They have also been found in breast cancer tissue and implicated in a multitude of health problems.)
